WB Games has been giving players the run around with PC support as of late, but it looks like there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
Mortal Kombat XL has now been confirmed for PC release, or at least Kombat Pack 2 is heading to Steam.
The port is still not being handled by NeverRealm Studios, but by a company called Qloc.
They are a Polish company that has been responsible for most of Capcom's recent PC ports, so at least we can rest easy about the quality.
Current owners of Mortal Kombat X on Steam will get a free update on October 4 that fixes all problems with netcode and stability.
They won't, however, be given Kombat Pack 2 for free (or any of the other crap that comes in XL). I feel that is the wrong move, but what can you do?
No price point has been announced for this new version, but I wouldn't be surprised to see $59.99.
This could follow in the footsteps of Batman: Arkham Knight and offer up Mortal Kombat (2011) for free, but I'm not about to have my faith in humanity restored.
